One-of-a Kind: All the leather used on your Junkyard Dog Leash is upcycled during the production of steering wheels and head rests from the auto industry. Each one has its own tone and shade, making it truly unique.
Why the Organic Cotton? We take pride in elevating sustainable alternatives that are good for you, your dog, and the planet. Cotton is superior to synthetics like polyester (made from oil) nylon ( made from oil) or BioThane( made from plastics) because organic cotton is free from toxic chemicals, doesn’t contribute harmful emissions, it’s sustainably harvested, and can be composted at the end of it’s useful life vs synthetic materials that can take thousands of years to break down in a landfill. Also no one wants their dog chewing on micro-plastics so we spent years testing and researching how to do a lightweight version of our leash with sustainable materials. It's the leash we can do. (pun intended!)
