Our high-top urban utility " Strider" boot unites motor city muscle with American hustle for a unique small batch hybrid boot that smells like a new car because it nearly was. 

Your boots will be made collaboratively by Pingree Detroit and COMUNITYmade in our factories in Detroit and Los Angeles.  We are utilizing sustainably sourced materials, including surplus (upcycled) car seat and steering wheel leather from the Detroit auto industry, and upcycled suede.

PLEASE NOTE: Your pair will be made-to-order and is handmade and shipped in the order in which it’s received. We are currently taking orders for 10 pairs of boots for our first production run that will be made and shipped before February 28th 2025. If you're giving these as a gift, we can send a gift receipt and offer free returns and exchanges up to 3 months after purchase.

The leather used on your Strider Chukkas will have a texture and shade that may vary slightly from the leather pictured, since your pair is crafted with upcycled suede and small batch leather reclaimed from the production of new cars.

 Each pair has character and purpose, just like the people who make it right here in the United States. Designed and meticulously crafted with care to last a lifetime. The Chukka is able to be resoled by our teams in Detroit or LA, whichever is closer to you when the outsole wears out. Versatile enough to wear to work or play, comfortable enough to wear every day.
